Edwin Larsen
PRESIDENT
Edwin has 20 years of proven professional experience in the high-end residential architecture and construction industries. He gained invaluable experience as an Architectural Designer and has developed expertise as a Construction Manager within both Fairfield and Westchester County. That knowledge now informs his construction processes and helps guides our clients through complex projects.
As President of Parallel Construction Management, Edwin is the head of new business development. He continuously implements operational strategies to ensure our projects run as efficiently as possible, handles all our project budgeting, bidding, contract negotiations, invoicing, and is in direct contact with our clients during the entire construction process.
Edwin earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology, Magna Cum Laude, from the New York Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture and Design. In addition, Edwin also holds Associate Degrees in Architectural Engineering and Construction Technology.
In his spare time, Edwin is an audiophile, Chicago Bulls fan, a car enthusiast, and enjoys traveling both domestically and abroad.
Luis Valdovinos
VICE PRESIDENT & SENIOR
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Luis Valdovinos brings over 15 years of architectural and construction-based expertise. Like Edwin, his training began in the offices of notable architectural firms in Fairfield County, which paved the way for his interest and experience in Construction Management. He studied at Boston Architectural College and has an Associate of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology.
His most important responsibility as Vice President of Parallel Construction Management is to oversee the day-to-day field operations of our construction projects, including the direct supervision of our Construction Superintendents. He collaborates extensively not only with our clients but also the architects, interior designers, and engineers resulting in a successful construction experience.
Luis, his wife, and their three daughters reside in Norwalk, CT. Luis enjoys doing home improvement projects on his own house, as well as spending his days off with his family, and planning an ocasional trip to Mexico.
Trey Heard

Trey Heard brings a diverse background to Parallel Construction. He studied Landscape Architecture at Arizona State University, practiced in Phoenix and eventually Reno/Lake Tahoe for nine years. After moving to New York City in 2011, Trey began working in high end residential construction as an Estimator. Over the course of the next 11 years, Trey worked in various roles as a Project Manager and Construction Superintendent for ground up mid-rise construction, and within various executive roles.
Trey resides in Wilton, CT with his wife and three kids. Being from Texas, Trey likes to grill and smoke meat, as well as spend time with his family and working on his landscape.
Michal Bal
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Michal Bal has over 15 years in the management and supervision of high-end residential and commercial projects. His degree in Business Administration and Management, obtained in his native country of Poland, along with his on-site experience, make him a very qualified and capable professional. Besides construction supervision, Michal assists with contract writing and estimating.
Michal and his wife are residents of Norwalk, CT. In his free time, he enjoys sports, BBQ with friends (we have GOT to get Trey and Michal together for a summer party!), traveling, and training for his next marathon and Ironman triathlon.
Chris Froehlich
CONSTRUCTION
SUPERINTENDENT
Chris Froehlich brings over 40 years of high-end single family residential construction management in both the Fairfield and Westchester County markets to Parallel Construction Management. As a skilled finish carpenter himself, he has a great eye for the details and welcomes the challenge of bringing all the moving parts together.
Chris is a longtime resident of Ridgefield, CT. He is an emerging wood sculpture and painter, enjoys his home life in the hills, and loves to play golf.
John Kelly
CONSTRUCTION
SUPERINTENDENT
John Kelly has more than 45 years of construction experience. He particularly enjoys the supervision and coordination of some of our most complicated projects. John has also worked for several notable high-end builders in the area. His portfolio of works spans from small additions to vast custom residences of 25,000 square feet.
John calls Danbury, CT his home. He loves boating, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. You can also find John on the links enjoying a round of golf.
Shelby Dejana

Shelby Dejana is a rising junior at Lehigh University where she majors in Architecture with a double minor in Real Estate and Health, Medicine, & Society. She hopes to pursue a career in Residential Construction Management. At Lehigh, Shelby is also a member of their Division 1 Track & Field team, serves on the Student Athlete Council, and is a part of the Real Estate Club.
Shelby grew up in Wilton, CT. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
Deborah Carr
ADMINISTRATIVE
ASSISTANT
Deborah Carr is the de facto "life saver" of the team. She handles all of the sample acquisitions, product ordering, shipping and receiving, manages our off-site storage facility, ensures all contractors maintain proper insurances throughout the duration of each project, and works closely with Edwin on client invoicing and contractor payments.
Deborah lives in Stamford, CT with her husband. She enjoys entertaining friends, walks on the beach, scuba diving, and traveling.
